Kaitlin Happer, PhD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the NYU Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Happer treats children, adolescents, and their families presenting with a variety of disorders, including: anxiety disorders (generalized, panic, social phobia, etc.), depression and mood disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, tics and body-focused repetitive behaviors, trauma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), among other presentations. Dr. Happer uses evidence-based treatments, most often from a cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) perspective. She has published research articles on relevant topics, including treatment of depression in adolescents and trauma-focused CBT for youth
